We are a family owned & operated biohazard clean-up company that has been serving Southern California for decades!
Harmony Environmental has been a family-owned business since 2010, built from the ground up by Keith and Cindy Davis. The idea of the company was born after the suicide of Keith’s childhood friend and learning about the lack of local companies able or willing to do the clean-up without a large deposit. Keith recognized that another victim of the suicide was his friend’s wife and son, they were being preyed upon by uncompassionate, improperly licensed, and price gouging companies that only had their bottom line to care about. When Keith retired from Caterpillar, he immediately thought that this was what he should do with his retirement, provide a discreet, trained workforce, licensed, and registered company that cared more about the victims than the bottom line.
Keith and Cindy started by seeking training in the industry and proper licensing. Keith became a registered California contractor with a “HAZ” endorsement for hazardous materials, He got registered with the California Department of Health, incorporated, and got proper insurance. They started with one truck and only Keith and Cindy responded to incidents. Cindy maintained her nursing job while Keith marketed Harmony to local law enforcement. Harmony has grown to work with eight local cities, many San Diego County locations, the DOD, Homeland Security, and dozens of private entities along with private residents. Since then, we have grown to 6 company vehicles and 5 full-time employees. We respond to 900-1200 calls per year, 24/7/365.
Cindy Davis passed in 2015 which is when one of the sons, Joe Davis took the reins of the operation on. Steven Davis, their youngest son, came to work for the company in 2017. Harmony is now owned and operated by Joe and Steven, with Keith Davis as a consultant as needed while he enjoys his retirement in South Carolina.
Olive is a now senior pug dog who goes to the office with Joe, She can often be heard snoring under the desk when you are on the phone with him.

Our History
Eric and Barbara Davis: Keith's parents built their first home together out of Adobe blocks and telephone poles in Encinitas in the late 1940's.
Keith Davis
Keith Davis is co-founder of Harmony Environmental was born and raised in North County San Diego. It was his idea to create Harmony Environmental after the tragedy of one his best friend's suicide and the ensuing clean-up. Keith is Joe's dad, who currently runs the company.
Cindy Davis
Cindy was Keith’s wife and a co-founder of Harmony Environmental. She passed in 2015, she loved a good laugh and often blamed the closest dog to her for her own flatulence. She had an amazing laugh and loved the hell out of her pets and family.
Where Did We Get Our Name From?
Keith initially called Harmony AES in 2008. Nobody really remembers what AES stood for but he thought it was solid for the phone book look up starting with an A. In 2010 Keith and Cindy incorporated with the state of California, turns out an AES company already existed.
The story goes Keith got the mail and received the notice of name denial and took it out to show Cindy who was with her Arabian horse. After a short discussion of what they could call the company Cindy decided they both agreed to name it after the horse. Meet Harmony the Arabian horse with Cindy when she very first got her.
